Year 4/5 Video
Hi Year 4/5
OH MY GOODNESS…IT IS THE LAST WEEK OF TERM!!! I can not believe how fast this year has gone 🙂 We have done so so much this year in class 8. We have done upside reading, created imaginative stories, learnt about the Vikings, dived into the world of pizzas, sang songs, danced everyday and had the best time ever! It has been an absolute privilege being your teacher this year and each and every one of you has made me so so proud! 🙂
This week for your home learning I would like you to go back and finish off any pieces of work that you may not have completed or any seesaw activities you want to have a go at. I would like you to have a think about all the skills you have learnt both in class and over the lock down period that you may not have been able to do before e.g baking, gardening, dancing, sewing. Write an achievement list of all the things you have done. You could send me this on SEESAW!
I cant wait to see you all in September and to catch up with you all.
Remember…stay safe and keep being amazing!
Sending lots of love to you all and virtual hugs.
Miss Wilkinson xxxxx

Welcome to Year 4/5
Welcome to Year 4/5! Full of fun, facts and fantastic children. Be warned, when you enter Year 4/5 you must be prepared to dance, laugh and sing your way through the day, just like Miss Wilkinson does! In Year 4/5, Miss Wilkinson is supported by Mrs Black.
Hi, I am Miss Wilkinson and I am the teacher in Year 4/5.
So…a little bit about me. As a child I attended Etherley Lane Primary School and loved every second! I used to come home from school and line up my cuddly toys, Barbies and dolls and teach them how to count and read with my little blackboard and chalk. I was mesmerised by my teachers and I knew that this was what I wanted to be when I grew up!
After leaving school, I completed my teaching assistant’s qualification at Durham and then went onto Northumbria University to study Early Primary Education. I really enjoyed university as it gave me the experience in a range of different settings with children and could see teaching from every angle. I have worked with babies up to children in year 11 at secondary school. I
spent time working in special needs schools to broaden my knowledge on this subject. I then came to Etherley Lane and worked across the school in a range of year groups.
Then I got a job in Year 3 but I am now the Year 4/5 teacher . I love it!
As many of you know I LOVE dancing and I have danced from a young age. I try and get as many staff and children involved in dancing as possible! I hear music and it instantly makes me want to dance, especially the Vengaboys! Dancing makes me ridiculously happy along with llamas…my favourite animal! They are so cute!
