Welcome to Year 3/4
I have worked at Etherley Lane School since 2001. I enjoy working with the children and seeing them reach their full potential. I have been the PE subject leader in school for a number of years, organising teams to attend sports festivals, running sports clubs and organising the annual sports day. In my spare time I enjoy walking and running with my dogs and watching my favourite football team.
Hello, my name is Miss Giblin and I absolutely love my job! I studied Primary Education at Sunderland University and started working at Etherley Lane in February 2019- the pupils, staff and parents made me feel so at home straight away!
My passion is drama, so it is not surprising that I run drama club on a Monday night, as well as offering a drama option during privilege time. I also love teaching Music as I get to watch the children express themselves in their own individual way. I believe everyone is born with their own special talents and I count myself lucky that I get to help our children discover and nurture their hidden gifts! In my spare time I enjoy reading and going to the gym.
