Maths Tutorial

Mirror, mirror on the wall…

what makes ME stand out from them all… to celebrate the work we have completed this week – every child will come home tonight with a letter…the letter shows a mirror and will have one word that describes just one of your child’s many talents. We want our children to know how brilliant we they are!

Football Tournament

Thank you to all of the children who took part in the football tournament at Spennymoor this week. Your attitudes and sportsmanship were fantastic and didn’t go unnoticed by the organisers – we received a letter to school to say just how brilliant you all were – Well done – we’re very proud of you!

Anti-Bullying Week

We’re pleased that the children have enjoyed learning about different kinds of bullying through a range of activities this week. Including, what bullying is, learning what to do if they are worried that they or someone they know may be being bullied, celebrating difference and valuing their own unique personalities and talents.

Hoop-tastic Fun!

Wow! What super hula hoop stars we have at Etherley Lane! Every child in school enjoyed learning how to hula hoop and new hula skills this week – we’re looking forward to seeing more of your moves at lunchtimes when the hoops will be outside for fun!
