The teacher in Year 5 this year is Miss Hepple.
Hello Class 7!
It has been lovely to see you all again and welcome you back into our new classroom over the first half term. We have so many amazing things planned for this year I cannot wait to get started and I hope you can’t too! 🙂
Miss Hepple x
Our PE day is a Monday each week.
Please ensure that on this day your child has a white or yellow top, black leggings or jogging bottoms and their school jumper as PE kit. Your child can come to school wearing this PE kit and appropriate PE shoes.
In Class 7 we take part in daily times tables practise in lots different ways to help us with our maths skills. The children love to practise their times tables on Times Table Rockstars and they can access this from home using their individual logins. They can also use this to challenge each other to Times Table Battles.
Class 7 take part in daily quiet reading sessions as we continue to develop your child’s reading skills throughout Year 5. We continue to use the Accelerated Reader programme to support this. Progress will be monitored in their reading record booklets and we will use this to report back to you at home about their quizzing results and any changes to their reading levels.
