Support for Emotional & Social Development

At Etherley Lane Primary School we consult with a wide range of agencies and partnerships to ensure the pastoral, medical and social needs of the SEND children are met.

These include;

  • Occupational Therapy,
  • CAMHS (Child and Adolescent Mental Health Service),
  • School Nursing Service,
  • Social services and Medical professionals.

Helen, our Family Liason Worker, also works closely with children across the school who require additional support with their emotional and social development. She works 1:1 with children as well as with small groups to promote positive relationships and provide children with strategies to manage their emotions.
